Africa-Press – Angola. The delegations of Angola, South Africa and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) assessed, this Sunday, in Kinshasa, the status of the strategic partnership, which is intended to be more dynamic, efficient and aimed at achieving concrete results.
This Tripartite Mechanism Meeting with the DRC and South Africa on the initiative of Angola was led by the head of Angolan diplomacy, Téte António, by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa, Grace Pandor, and the Deputy Prime Minister Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the DRC, Christophe Apala.
The Tripartite Mechanism Meeting concluded on the need to revise the Memorandum of Understanding, having decided on the establishment of a technical working group that should submit a proposal for its revision by May 30, 2023, according to a communiqué from Foreign Affairs sent.
