Africa-Press – Angola. Angola will host, from June 23 to 27, 2025, the 17th United States-Africa Business Summit, the Presidency of the Republic announced this Thursday in a press release.The event of great strategic importance will bring together government, business and investor leaders from the African and American continents, reinforcing the commitment between Africa and the United States in strengthening economic, commercial and investment ties, reads the statement, published on Facebook.
“Organized in collaboration with the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA), this summit aims to discuss and promote opportunities for investment, innovation and partnerships between the public and private sectors, with a focus on areas such as infrastructure, energy, technology, agriculture and industry,” the document states.
The note also states that the Business Summit marks an important moment for Africa and for the sustainable development of economies, while strengthening relations with the American market.
The holding of this event in Luanda is particularly symbolic as it coincides with the 50th Anniversary of Angola’s Independence, to be celebrated on 11 November 2025.
The initiative will also take place at a time of major transformations and economic growth in the country, solidifying its position as a key partner in the economic and political development of the African continent, the note concludes.
The US-Africa Business Summit is a global forum that has strengthened business relationships between African and American companies for more than two decades, providing a platform for dialogue between leaders and investors to catalyze new projects and partnerships that drive sustainable economic development on the African continent.
