Africa-Press – Angola. The World Tourism Forum Institute, on Wednesday in Madrid, Spain, expressed its support for Angola in hosting the World Tourism Investment Forum, to be held from May 3rd to 7th this year in Luanda.

The information was made public by Abukfas Garayev, representative of the United Kingdom (UK) based World Tourism Forum Institute, after a meeting with the Angolan minister of Tourism, Márcio Daniel, on the sidelines of the 46th edition of the Madrid International Tourism Fair (FITUR).

Speaking to the press, he noted that the Angolan minister of Tourism participated in the conference in Brussels, Belgium, and during the discussions showed willingness to host the event in the country ́s capital.

Abukfas Garayev stressed that it is because of these initiatives that his organization believe Angola has enormous potential for tourism. This event requires significant investment and interest from the entire economic sector and local authorities.

He emphasized that the objective is to provide full support to the Angolan Ministry of Tourism in organizing and attracting all the necessary interest for the event, given that the next two to three months will be entirely focused on the conference.

Angola will host the World Tourism Investment Forum, one of the world’s largest evento f the sector.

The event anticipates the participation of more than 500 top global investors, leading decision-makers from major investment funds and companies in the hospitality sector.
