Africa-Press – Angola. At just 20 years old, the Angolan baseman who plays for Aris in Holland, Dimitri Maconda, will be able to make his debut, today, with the National Team shirt.

Dimitri Maconda, who was born in the Netherlands, will fulfill his dream of playing for the national team, after failing to compete in the third and fourth qualifying window in the African zone for the 2023 World Cup, a competition that took place recently in the city of Abidjan.

With the bureaucratic problems solved, the player has the legal mechanisms to wear the jersey of the African champions.

Bruno Fernando, African champion of Sub-16 and Sub-18, respectively, returns to the National Team six years later. The last time the athlete wore the Angolan team jersey was in 2016, at the Pre-Olympic Tournament in Caracas, Venezuela.
