Africa-Press – Angola. A group of Angolan businesspeople from a wide range of sectors has been working in Poland since the 9th of this month. According to a statement, the group was accompanied by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Angola in Poland, Manuel Chaves, in compliance with the challenge issued by the Angolan Head of State, João Lourenço, to sharpen economic diplomacy aimed at attracting foreign investment.
The business delegation, led by banker and business consultant Coutinho Nobre Miguel, met with the Warsaw Chamber of Commerce and BGK Bank in the Polish capital.On the same day, the delegation travelled to the city of Sandomierz, where they held a working meeting with the management of the PBI Group.
On this occasion, the business delegation visited the Budy Mines, which extracts and processes aggregates, such as industrial sand and other materials, particularly for the production of glass, the Wymyslów Mines, the processing plant, the tile factory and the concrete plants.
The Angolan businesspeople also visited the Janczyce mines, the Janczyce Mill and the fertilizer factory.
In Warsaw, the delegation also held meetings with businesspeople linked to the energy sector, banking and finance and with the company Medical Innovation, which is dedicated to the production, sale and maintenance of hospital medical equipment.
