Africa-Press – Angola. Angolan technology solutions company Cetim launched the “Noah” smart television, with an initial investment of 500 million kwanzas.

It is a television called “Genesis TV”, with 55 inches, ultra HD (UHD), 4K, DLED, without borders, which becomes part of the brand of that company in the national market.

The device has the Android operating system version nine, with equal gigs of storage and allows native applications such as streaming and entertainment, in addition to local content.

With a height of 837.2 millimeters (mm), 1449.3 mm in width and a maximum thickness of 336.7 mm, the device is being produced in China.

According to the head of marketing, Alfredo Kayesse, stocks are available to respond within a period of two quarters.

In the second quarter of 2023, he added, quoted by Angop, the company expects to start ordering the next shipments, such as other categories, in addition to the Genesis TV.

With more than 500 televisions available, Cetim is promoting the sale of the devices online, with promotional prices expected in December, for brand expansion.

The second phase of this project, scheduled for the next three years, will involve the construction and local assembly of this device, an undertaking that is expected to generate 200 jobs, according to Afonso Kayesse.

“The company already has spaces for setting up the factories, one in Talatona and another one further out on the outskirts, taking into account social inclusion”, he advanced last Friday.

The company plans to enter the Mozambican market shortly after Angola.
