Africa-Press – Angola. The Angolan ambassador to South Africa, Rui Orlando Xavier, received, on Tuesday, the trophy corresponding to the “Best Dance” category won by a group made up of Angolan students in a competition on international culture at Tshwane University, in Pretoria .
The young people made a point of offering the diplomat another trophy in a category they had already won last year.
On the occasion, Ambassador Rui Xavier thanked the gesture and encouraged young people to maintain dedication and commitment to their studies and recalled that the country needs all its children to help in its development.
The group is made up of students Andrea Orlov, Lukénia Hikelua, Cristina Kalunda, Estrela Luzizila, Eduarda Kondua, Maria Kondua, Evânio Hilário and Felizarda Kalunda.
The event is held annually and aims to stimulate art and culture, promoting dance, cuisine, craft exhibition and fashion from African nations whose students attend Tswane University.
