Angolan Head of State Meets with African Union Diplomat

Africa-Press – Angola. Angolan Head of State and Chairperson of the African Union (AU), João Lourenço, met with the Executive Director of the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD), Nardos Bekele-Thomas, on Monday in Luanda, with whom he discussed issues related to the 3rd Summit on Infrastructure Financing in Africa.

The Ethiopian diplomat, who works in the AU’s technical structure, is in Luanda to participate in the 3rd Summit on Infrastructure Financing in Africa, which the country will host from October 28th to 31st.

The summit aims to attract new international funding, strengthen strategic partnerships, and promote alignment with major national and continental development plans, within the framework of the African Union’s Agenda 2063. At the end of the hearing, Nardos Bekele-Thomas did not make any statements to the press.
