Angolan Oil Exports Earn USD 6.29 Billion in Three Months

Africa-Press – Angola. During the third quarter of this year, Angola earned approximately 6.29 billion U.S. dollars, which is a 9.25% increase compared to the second quarter of 2025, the Secretary of State for Oil and Gas, José Barroso, announced on Thursday in Luanda.

Speaking at the presentation of the sector’s third-quarter results, Barroso said the figure resulted from the export of 90.95 million barrels of crude oil, which was a 7.19% increase compared to the previous period.

Barroso said that the weighted average price was 69.163 USD per barrel in the last three months.He identified China (59.63%), India (8.59%), Indonesia (7.61%), and Spain (4.13%) as the primary destinations for Angolan exports.

Natural gas exports totaled around 1.63 million metric tons in the same period, with liquefied natural gas (LNG) accounting for 88.62% of the total. This volume represented a 22.03% increase compared to the second quarter.

The value of the exported gas was approximately 900.7 million US dollars, which is an 18.36% increase from the previous quarter. The growth was mainly due to the rise in gas prices on the international market.

LNG was mainly exported to Asia, accounting for 66.55% of the total. India was the main destination, accounting for 57.03% of the total volume.
