Africa-Press – Angola. The Angolan Demarte Pena revalidated the title of world champion of the “Ares Fighting Championship”, in the bantamweight category, by beating, on Thursday night, the Frenchman Mehdi Saadi, in Paris (France).
In the fight, held in the Actogone of Dôme, Demarte won by unanimous decision of the arbitration.
It was their first title defense, winning by scores of 49-46, 49-46 and 50-45.
This world trophy was won for the first time by the Mixed Martial Arts fighter on February 17, with a victory over the Algerian Elias Boudegzdame, after five rounds on the same mat at the Dôme de Paris.
Born on September 23, 1989, also known as “The Wolf” (The Wolf) is the holder of dozens of titles in the biggest world fighting championships, such as ARES, EFC, UFC, among others.
In 15 matches played throughout his career, athlete Demarte Pena lost just one.
