Africa-Press – Angola. “Paintings and Sculptures” is the title of the collective exhibition, which brings together, until the end of this month, in Lisbon, Portugal, the works of Angolan artists Indira Mateta, Dila Moniz, Lino Damião, Horácio Dá Mesquita, Carlos Bajouca, Mário Tendinha and Luandino Carvalho.

The exhibition, held at the headquarters of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP), in Lisbon, curated by Carlos Bajouca and Lino Damião, was inaugurated for the celebrations of the 5th of May, World Portuguese Language Day.

For the president of Casa de Angola in Lisbon, Guilherme Gervásio, the invitation to national artists represents recognition of the work done by them, particularly in recent years.
