Lieutenant General Samuel Zinga highlighted the experience gained in past wars in order to clarify the staff on the importance of education and training. “The conditions for military strengthening have been created, in all branches of the Angolan Armed Forces”, said the general officer, as he proceeded, on Friday, in Huambo, to the closing of the XVI Methodological Meeting of the Organs of Military Education and Preparation of Troops. .
Permanent combative readiness, he said, is a way of demonstrating “love for the country, at all times of life”, putting into action the fulfillment of duty in the defense of sovereignty and the symbols of the Republic, within the scope of national security. Lieutenant General Samuel Zinga, highlighted the province of Huambo, which hosted the meeting, as an “unavoidable nursery” in the promotion of military cadres.
The head of the FAA General Staff’s Main Directorate of Military Education and Troop Preparation, Lieutenant General Samuel Zinga, said that profound military values must inspire the courage, dedication, determination and sacrifice of all men and women who have sworn to defend national sovereignty with their lives.
The year of combat instruction of 2022/2023, opened in the North region, is part of the training plan of military units, within the improvement of the capabilities and skills of the troops, with a view to guaranteeing success in future missions that may be, superiorly, , oriented.
Lieutenant General Samuel Zinga stressed the need to carry out, at all levels, greater control of the personnel to participate in training actions and military exercises, since “the sweat shed in combat preparation is the blood that saves in combat”, he concluded.
