In a press release made available, BE expresses its recognition and thanks to Carlos Duarte for his commitment and contribution to the process of restructuring the institution’s executive leadership.
The assumption of functions by Victor Cardoso, according to BE’s Board of Directors, is subject to the registration procedures due with the supervisor.
As for Victor Cardoso, the document states that he has a solid academic curriculum and a remarkable professional career in the financial system, having performed for several years the functions of director of several financial institutions in Angola and abroad, with his skills and experience perfectly suited to the new role.
On the other hand, it also informs that, with effect from 13 March 2023, Jorge Ramos resumed his duties as executive director and member of the Board of Directors of Banco Económico.
