Africa-Press – Angola. Petro de Luanda started with an advantage over Vila Clotilde, winning the first game, 99-63, of the quarterfinals of the National Senior Men’s Basketball Championship, a best-of-three series.
At halftime, the Petro team were already winning by 45-30, in a match played at the ISPTEC pavilion. The second game between the two teams is set take place on Thursday (16) at 6:39 pm, at the Fernando Sousa pavilion.
For the same phase, Interclube overcame the Casa Pessoal do Porto do Lobito, by 81-76, 1o de Agosto trashed Ferroviário de Angola by 98-43, while Sporting de Luanda defeated Petro de Luanda B, by 72-69. Petro de Luanda are the holders of the title.
