Africa-Press – Angola. A Technological Entrepreneurship and Diversification Fair opened, in Caxito, Bengo province, with the presentation of several projects built by students from different local schools.
Today, the “ecological generator” projects by inventor Miguel Augusto and the “autonomous fire warning system, SACCI-02, by student Roberto João Mukeba” were highlighted.
The “ecological generator” project by the inventor from the municipality of Nambuangongo, works on wind and generates wind energy. It uses low-cost materials and can be useful for areas that do not have conventional electricity.
The inventor owns projects such as the smart stove, ecological house, automatic garbage disposal and organic battery that are “shelved” due to lack of support and sponsorship for their implementation.
The “autonomous fire warning system” project, by Roberto João Mukeba, 15 years old, consists of a transmitter device that has a programmable board to detect flames.
It is a device that can be installed in homes, it has a receiving device that, according to the inventor, must be mounted in a fire station close to the fire department.
Creator of the “long-lasting battery and lamp” projects, as well as the “mini power generating plant”, Roberto Mukeba said that SACCI-02 does not use the internet and uses geolocation which facilitates its use in rural areas.
Roberto Mukeba is a physical and biological sciences student at Liceu Eifel de Caxito.
The TED fair aims to create opportunities for students and other participants to present their projects to the community.
The Technological, Entrepreneurship and Diversification Fair is an organization of the TED Fair Group – Edições Pro, which takes place within the scope of the education project for science, technology, innovation and diversification.
All 2nd cycle secondary schools, technical schools, teaching schools, startup companies and individual exhibitors in the area of entrepreneurship and diversification participate in the event.
