Africa-Press – Angola. Banco de Fomento Angola presented its BFA Pensões service at the Benguela International Fair, during a meeting with businesspeople from different sectors.
According to the director of the Business Development Office of BFA Pensões – Sociedade Gestora de Fundos de Pensões, Domingos Matamba, its corporate purpose is the constitution, management, administration and representation of these funds.
This investment amounts to 900 million kwanzas.
BFA Pensões was established in 2022 and licensed to operate savings products, presenting itself on the market to offer a differentiated service for companies and individuals.
He added, on the other hand, that pension funds are autonomous assets, independent of the company, which are intended to finance one or more pension plans through contributions from companies or their employees.
The director informed that the fund allows the company to provide its employees with additional protection upon retirement due to age limit, disability or death, in addition to the benefit provided by the social security system.
The Pension Fund will also make it possible to contribute to more dignified work, the reduction of social inequality, as well as economic growth.
BFA Pensões, present at the 13th edition of the Benguela International Fair (FIB), aims to become a reference in the banking sector, whose objective is to achieve values based on innovation, transparency, proximity and sustainability.
Still within the scope of FIB, two workshops were promoted with the themes “Agriculture makes Angola grow” and “Agricultural campaign credit”.
