Africa-Press – Angola. A group of 30 businesspeople have been participating in a training course in Luanda since Thursday, under the “Giants” program, with the aim of strengthening skills in management, leadership and business structuring.

The “Giants” Business Mastery program brings together businesspeople, managing partners and managers of small and medium-sized companies, with the aim of promoting management geared towards efficient teams, improving production and operational practices, and increasing business profitability.

Created by “Grupo Acelerador Brasil”, the program has already impacted more than 5,000 companies in Brazil and Portugal, and in Angola, the content is being adapted to the national reality. According to the executive director of Grupo Acelerador Angola, Maurício Guimarães, the expectation is that the businesspeople from the first class of Giants Angola will achieve extraordinary results, similar to hundreds of participants in Brazil.

“The program attracts companies because it has a practical and relevant methodology that helps accelerate growth, offering training, mentoring and a community of mutual support among members”, he explained.

The CEO of “Nova Fumetal” and participant in the training, Jamir Baptista, decided to participate in the program with the aim of creating a robust business structure prepared for the major challenges of the Angolan market. “With the increasingly complex global economic dynamics, our main challenge is owner-dependence.

The company constantly needed my presence to function. I’m here to change that,” she said. In turn, psychologist and child educator Alice Silva from Beraeo Kids sees the program as an opportunity to break with stagnation and prepare for expansion.

The Angola Accelerator Group ensures that the Giants program goes far beyond mentoring and training.

The training is based on three main pillars: strategic business growth, high-performance leadership and practical governance for the company’s day-to-day activities. Participants are being accompanied by experienced mentors and certified trainers from the Angola Accelerator Group and the Brazil Accelerator Group.
