Africa-Press – Angola. The city of Caála, in the western corridor of the province of Huambo, will soon have free internet points, installed by the National Institute for the Promotion of the Information Society (INFOSI),Friday .
This is a government initiative, aimed at boosting the information society and encouraging the democratization of communities, through the installation of free internet points.
They were set up on Avenida Norton de Matos, Rua Fundadores da Caála and in the central Fernando Faustino Muteka, which is just waiting for the inauguration.
The administrator of the municipality of Caála, Ruben Isaías Etome, praised the government’s initiative in installing free internet points in the locality, as they will reinforce the teaching/learning process, through investigation and research.
Therefore, he considered it to be a successful achievement, both for the local authorities and the student population, mainly as the largest beneficiary.
The city of Caála has been a point of concentration for the student population from various regions of the country, who aspire to attend secondary and higher education.
