Cabinda Repatriates 47 Foreign Citizens Due to Migration Irregularities

Africa-Press – Angola. Forty-seven citizens from the DRC and Congo, who were residing illegally in the province of Cabinda, in northern Angola, were repatriated last weekend by the Migration and Foreigners Service (SME) in the region.

There are 38 citizens from the DRC and nine from Congo, who were collected following control and inspection actions of foreign citizens in an irregular migratory situation.

In a note sent this Monday, in Cabinda, the SME informs that the repatriation of these illegal immigrants took place at the Yema and Massabi border posts.

The province of Cabinda shares a vast land, sea and river border with the two Congos (DRC and Congo).
