Africa-Press – Angola. The African Football Confederation (CAF) will make around 500 thousand US dollars available to all federations, whose national teams have guaranteed qualification for the African Nations Championship (CAN), which will be played in Côte d’Ivoire, in 2024 .
Among the federations that will benefit from this amount is the Angolan Football Federation (FAF), as its National Team, also known as “Palancas Negras”, has already confirmed a place in the continental competition.
The amount, according to Rádio Cinco, will be delivered in two installments, the first being before the start of CAN, on January 5, 2024.
The second part of the amount will only be delivered at the end of the competition. On the other hand, depending on the team’s performance in the competition, the total amount could reach up to five (5) million dollars.
