Africa-Press – Angola. The National Football Team faces on the 23rd of this month, in the city of Kumassi, a similar one in Ghana, for the third round (Group E), qualifying for the final phase of the 34th edition of the African Cup of Nations (CAN ‘2024), in Côte d’Ivoire.
The challenge is scheduled for Baba Yara Sports Stadium (17 hours).
The two teams, which lead the group with four points each, will meet again on the 27th, also this month, at the Estádio Nacional 11 de Novembro, in Luanda, for the fourth round.
This series is also integrated by the Central African Republic (CAR) and Madagascar, who add one point each, in third and fourth places.
Senegal is the current continental champion. In the 2021 edition, they defeated Egypt in the final, by 4-2, on penalties, after (0-0) in regular time and in extra time.
