Africa-Press – Angola. Candidate number 5 for the position of general secretary of the JFNLA, Carlos Cassoma, assured in Malanje, that in case of victory, he will invest in projects linked to volunteering, aiming to address issues of natural calamities and help those most in need.

The politician who was speaking to the party’s youth in Malanje, said that the project envisages the creation of brigades of young blood donors and the delivery of basic necessities to disadvantaged people in rural areas.

He made it known that his action program for the four-year period 2024/28 also provides for the political and professional training of staff, given the need to prepare the party’s young people for future political challenges and to guarantee self-employment.

On the other hand, the candidate for the JFNLA’s top seat reported that the action program has three axes, linked to leadership, financial management and the search for revenue and working funds.

Without giving details, he also highlighted that the restructuring of the provincial, municipal and communal secretariats, as well as other aspects aimed at recovering the FNLA’s image, reintegration and mobilization of new party activists, are on its agenda.

As part of his vote hunting campaign, Carlos Cassoma has already worked in the provinces of Luanda, Bengo, Bie, Huambo, Benguela, Uige, Zaire and Malanje and continues in the eastern and southern regions of the country.

Bumba Paiva and Vita Francisco are competing for the position of general secretary of the JFNLA.
