Africa-Press – Angola. At least 8,000 guests will attend the central ceremony of the 50th Anniversary of Angola National Independence on November 11, at the Republic Square, the Secretariat of State for Territory Administration, Teresa Quivienguele, announced Tuesday in Luanda.
Speaking to the press, at the end of the 12th Ordinary Meeting of the Interministerial Commission for the Organization of the Commemorative Actions of the Independence Party, as coordinator of the Technical Group, said that the event, lasting three hours, will be the highest point of the celebrations and will happen with two great moments.
She said that the first moment will be the civic parade with about six thousand actors from the various facets of Angolan society, which will symbolize culture and art, the domains of education, economy, industry and the history of the Angolan nation in 50 years of independence.
She said that the second moment will be marked by the exhibition of the various military branches, with the presentation of military technology involving approximately four thousand actors of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) and the National Police (PN).
According to the source, other activities will take place, in addition to the central act, noting, that for the 8th is expected an ecumenical cult, two days later (10) there will be a music-cultural show, in Luanda Bay, starting at 16h00 and ending at 00h00, which will be filled by pyrotechnics show.
Out -of -season carnival – Special Edition 50 years
The director of the cultural action of the Ministry of Cultural, Pedro Chissanga, announced this Tuesday (12), that in the context of the celebrations of the 50 years of national independence, marking on November 11, will be promoted a special edition of Carnival, on September 13, in the New Marginal, with the participation of the winning groups of the 21 provinces of the country.
It needed that they will also be part of the party two animation blocks, and the largest will be integrated by all the groups that dance the Kazukuta style, in honor of the Carnival Group União Workers Kabocomeu, winner of the first edition of the largest national cultural demonstration in 1978, at the time called Carnival of Victory.
While the other block, which will play the official music of Independence’s 50th Anniversary, said, will be integrated by groups that display the traditional ballet.
‘We are preparing all the conditions. We have information that the preparation of the groups across the country is due to a good pace. We await the date so that at this time we have a different parade, as it is the first, in this format, and that is in fact a moment of unity and national reconciliation,’ she said.
Asked about the supports, he said that they are happening through the provincial governments that are committed, as well as by other institutions, noting that, at the level of the organizing committee, will be protected other details so that there are no embarrassment.
Regarding access to the event, she stressed that there will be two modalities (ticket and invitations), which will be disseminated for the acquisition of tickets, which will take place in the new marginal, stage of the Special Edition.
