The second commander of the Central Military Region, Brigadier Sapalo Baptista, stated, Sunday, that the institution is committed to the academic and professional training of military personnel, in order to guarantee greater quality in the fulfillment of superiorly oriented missions.
Sapalo Baptista, who spoke during the celebrations of the 32nd anniversary of the Army National, one of the branches of the FAA, held at the Central Region Headquarters, said he counts on the partnership of the provincial governments, considering that, in times of peace, it is necessary for the military to acquire scientific and technical-professionals.
“This partnership aims, in addition to raising the level of educational and FAA staff professionals, assist the Executive’s efforts, to meet the need for teachers through the literacy program embraced by the military body, in the training of many people who to this day have not they know how to read”, he highlighted.
O second commander of the Central Military Region highlighted that, since the creation of the Army and with the assistance of other Defense and Security bodies, the military have been the guardians of the achievements achieved, complying with the principles of patriotism, selflessness, discipline, organization and rigor in missions.
For the general officer, the military of the Central Region are committed to preparing operational, combative and patriotic educational, with a view to continuous training to fulfill the assigned mission, as well as safeguard the territory national, reaffirming the commitment to continue preserving and consolidating the peace.
Underlined that, within the framework of social responsibilities, the Army has participated in several actions, in collaboration with the provincial governments of the Central Region, namely Huambo, Benguela, Cuanza-Sul and Bié, where the campaigns routine vaccination for populations, especially in more remote areas.

O deputy governor for the Political, Economic and Social Sector of Huambo, Angelino Elavoko, appealed to the troops on parade and not only to maintain military discipline, as well such as being careful when using social media.
