Africa-Press – Angola. The representative of the province of Huíla, Cheik Mbunga, aged 30, won the mister Angola 2023 competition, during the 22nd edition of the gala, held on Thursday night, in Luanda.

The event, which featured 10 competitors from some provinces of Angola and the diaspora, also elected Edson Cadente and Eujorge Miguel to second and third places.

As a prize, the master has participation in the international competition, a cell phone, jewelry, bedroom furniture, a year of health plan, among other benefits, while the second and third runners-up received cell phones, beauty kits and models from a brand renowned.

Speaking to the press, Cheik Mbunga said that during his mandate he will develop social programs and work intensively with the Angola Mister Committee.

For his part, the president of the Mister Angola Committee, Hadjalma El Vaim, congratulated the winner and encouraged him to participate in social programs during his term.

The competition was held under the motto “Water source of life”, with the aim of promoting the constant consumption of this liquid.

The Mister Angola Committee is the body responsible for the most important male beauty competition in Angola, since 1999.

Over the years, it has also embraced charitable causes, supporting public and private institutions with basic necessities, training and lectures, putting beauty at the service of noble causes in society.
