Africa-Press – Angola. The crises in the Middle East and the conflict between Russia and Ukraine were among several topics discussed this Monday in Beijing, between delegations from the MPLA and the Chinese Communist Party (PCCh).
These matters were discussed during a reception for the secretary of the MPLA Political Bureau for International Relations, Manuel Augusto, held by the vice minister of the CPC Department of International Relations, Li Mingxiang, in the Chinese capital.
During the meeting, internal issues of the two party formations, both in power, were discussed, as well as current international issues.
The MPLA delegation, which has been in Beijing since Sunday (22), then headed to the CPC Party School.
The delegation learned about the history and functioning of the institution that, for more than 70 years, has been responsible for the political and ideological training of CCP members.
The person responsible for the establishment, founded in 1933, Zhu Baicheng, informed the MPLA delegation about the importance of the institution for the formation of Chinese leadership, “for the transformation of China into the second largest economy in the world, the State with the largest foreign exchange reserves and the most industrialized country in the world, about to be considered high-income by the World Bank”.
Manuel Augusto was impressed with the level of organization and congratulated the PCCh, on behalf of the MPLA, for the quality of the staff trained there and the impressive infrastructure.
Founded in July 1921, in Shanghai, the CCP has governed China since 1949. It has more than 90 million members.
