Africa-Press – Angola. The Chinese multinational Yuan’s Hi-Tech Seed CO LTD, which is dedicated to the engineering and production of rice seeds, has expressed interest in investing in Angola, this Thursday through a press release from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forests.
According to the statement, the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, António de Assis, will receive, today, in audience, the CEO of the Chinese multinational Yuan’s Hi-Tech Seed CO LTD, Yao Zhengqiu, “one of the world’s leading specialists in the cultivation of rice production”.
“The company deals directly with the production and formation of high-yield seeds, but also supports scientific research and provides technical support and training to local centers in the countries where it operates”, stresses the note.
Yao Zhengqiu, quoted in the same statement, considers Angola to be a country of extreme importance for the global growth strategy of the company he manages, and therefore “expresses interest in investing in our country”.
