Three new national records were set by the athletes of Clube Náutico da Ilha de Luanda, during the dispute of the Provincial Championship of Swimming in Luanda by categories, in both sexes, in the 50-meter pool of the Complexo de Alvalade, in the categories of children and youth .
The records of the race that ended on Sunday were broken in the men’s and women’s classes. In juvenile, David Padre, José Cochofel, Rafael Bredel and Rildo Francisco, all from Clube Náutico da Ilha de Luanda (CNIL) set a new record in the 4X200 freestyle, with a time of nine minutes, 28 seconds and 64 hundredths, improving 29 seconds compared to the previous time.
In the same category, the athletes Inara Santos, Nyriam Morais, Milena Lourenço, Welwtschia Silva, all from the CNIL, were also in evidence in the 4X200 meter free relay, with a record of 10 minutes, 24 seconds and 36 hundredths. The previous mark was set at 10:52.57.
In the 800 meters freestyle, children’s Rhanya Espírito Santo, from CNIL, was also in evidence, as she showed good sporting form when spraying the mark of 11 minutes, 24 seconds and 21 hundredths. The previous record was (12:04 and 79 hundredths, belonging to Welwtschia.
In the team classification, 1º de Agosto beat the competition with a total of 24 thousand and 192 points, followed by Nossa Senhora da Anunciação (ADEOA), 17 thousand and 242 and Óscar Sport Clube (OSC) 11 thousand and 98 points.
ADEOA shone with 23 thousand and 361 points, in juniors, while the CNIL with 22 thousand and 973 points (male and female) and 3 thousand and 593, in male, occupied the following positions. In juveniles, the CNIL again gave cards, totaling 44 thousand and 324 points and 1º de Agosto (18 thousand and 760), finished in first position in juveniles and children, respectively.
