Africa-Press – Angola. The improvement in the cognitive development of young people and adults led the Gianni Gaspar Martins Foundation (GGMF) to sign a memorandum of cooperation with the Catholic University of Angola (UCAN), which will implement several cultural, educational, sports and health projects in the communities, the organization’s president said on Monday. Gianni Gaspar Martins stressed that among the various projects to be implemented is the construction of a multi-sports court in the center adjacent to Palanca, to keep young people’s minds occupied.
For the rector of UCAN, Maria da Assunção, the foundation’s initiative to collaborate with the institution is commendable. “It is a non-profit institution, willing to guarantee the minimum well-being in the communities”, she stressed.
