The companies Viva Seguros and Carrinho Agri carried out, this Friday, in the municipality of Ganda, province of Benguela, prospecting studies and assessment of the quality of the region’s soils, aiming to promote agricultural insurance and the development of agriculture in the country .
According to a press release, Saturday, the objective is to bring producer families closer to this mechanism that will protect production and safeguard agricultural seasons.
In practice, the document states, the Ganda meeting aimed at the first exchange of information, collection and conversation with producers.
The trip by Viva Seguros and Carrinho Agri was attended by experts from the international insurance company “Pula Advisors”, who, along with their Angolan counterpart, will help producers with banks in presenting the best proposals for financing the activity.
Thus, Viva Seguros, which is the pioneer of agricultural insurance in the country, and Carrinho Agri, the agricultural arm of Grupo Carrinho, bring this insurance product closer to family producers.
Angola still does not have agricultural insurance.
