Africa-Press – Angola. The search for new contacts and channels to sell their products is the focus of attention at the 5th Edition of Expo-Indústria/2023, which runs from March 29 to April 1, in the Special Economic Zone (ZEE) Luanda-Bengo .
The event, which has 238 national and foreign exhibitors, essentially involves sellers and consumers from the national industrial sector.
The main sectors represented at the exhibition are civil construction with 22%, commerce and distribution (12%), the textile and catering sectors with 11% each, crafts (10%), oil and gas and agribusiness with 8%, respectively, being banking and insurance, the furniture industry with five per cent each and others.
NuviBrands – an Angolan company dedicated to the development, marketing and sale of consumer goods in Angola, with export projects to several African countries, sought Expo-Indústria/2023 to find new trade channels.
The Operational Marketing manager at NuviBrands, Fernando Imbi, says that the company brought personal hygiene products, home hygiene and food products.
He assured that the company has the production capacity to respond to the needs of the market, with more than 200 products in its portfolio, being a manufacturer of personal hygiene goods and liquid detergents in Angola.
“First, we want to expose our brand and create partnerships here with potential customers, resellers and let people know that we exist and that our products are 100% locally produced”, he reinforced.
The Marketing manager of Cidade da China, Leonardo Cipriano, says that the company belonging to the African Sunrise Group will present at the expo a set of platforms that will allow companies working in the Angolan industrial sector to have support to be able to produce and then market their goods in the country and abroad.
“We are talking about shopping areas and three shopping centres, namely Cidade da China, Kikolo Shopping and our newest project which is Nova Era Centro Comercial which will be the largest Shopping Center in Angola and one of the largest in Africa”, he asserted. .
He added that the group has in its portfolio the construction of an Industrial Park, close to Funda, in the municipality of Cacuaco, which will be the first large-scale industrial incubator in Africa.
At Expo-Indústria, he continued, “we seek that Angolan producers and not only, know our image, know our projects and that they are also part of the group’s new projects”.
The 5th Edition of Expo-Indústria/2023, which runs from March 29 to April 1, in the Special Economic Zone (ZEE) Luanda-Bengo, returns after registering a three-year interregnum in 2019, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 19, with the participation of 200.
