Africa-Press – Angola. The Congolese diplomat Constantin Kalala, appointed head of the Diplomatic Mission of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in Angola, presented, this Friday, in Luanda, Figurative Letters to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António, with a view to their accreditation.

According to a press note from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Mirex), the moment also served for the two entities to talk about the deepening of friendship and cooperation relations between Angola and Democratic Congo.

Angola and the DRC maintain good political-diplomatic relations and share a vast border. Both have signed several agreements covering, among other areas of cooperation, Defense and Security, Trade and Transport.

Angola and the DRC belong to the Southern African Development Community (SADC), the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region (ICRGL) and the Economic Community of Central African States (CEEAC).
