Africa-Press – Angola. The Consulate General of Angola in Dubai and the Northern Emirates interacted, on Saturday, with members of the Angolan community in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
“The III Meeting with Angolan Community in Dubai and Northern Emirates and Children’s Christmas in the linear of the year” aimed to listen to residents and collect opinions and suggestionsforimproving the activities and functioning of the Association of Angolans and Friends in the UAE, as well as reflecting on participation in the political, economic and social life of the country.
Participated in the event diplomats, employees and members of the Angolan community in the United Arab Emirates. The consul-geral of Angola in Dubai, Bento André, reiterated a great responsibility of the Consulate, especially, in the protectionction of underage citizens.
Furthermore, we will continue to promote the development of commercial, economic, cultural and scientific relations between the two States, as well as all other functions entrusted to the post established by international agreements.
In the United Arab Emirates there are around 200 Angolans, mainly concentrated in Dubai, who carry out various activities linked to Civil Construction, Commerce, Hospitality, Business and Business.
