Africa-Press – Angola. Angolan striker Laurindo Aurélio “Depú” scored in the first victory of his team, Gil Vicente, against Estoril, 5-3, in a match on the 5th round of the First Football League in Portugal.
This is the Angolan international’s first goal in the current league season and the first time he had more time on the field with 75 minutes, after having played 29′, in the defeat against Vitória SC, by 1-2, in the second round.
The footballer from the National Team of honors, who recently qualified for the final phase of the African Cup of Nations (CAN’2024), in Côte d’Ivoire, also played for 26 minutes, in the defeat (2-3) with the Benfica from Lisbon, for the third round.
The striker, Girabola 2021 champion for Sagrada Esperança da Lunda Norte, also played 28 minutes, in the match in which his team lost to Vizela, 0-1, in the fourth round.
Depú also had a short spell at Petro de Luanda until January 2023, during which time he transferred to the Portuguese club Gil Vicente.
