Africa-Press – Angola. The deputies to the National Assembly elected in the General Elections of August 24th, will take office next Friday, informed the first secretary of the Parliament’s table, Raul Lima.
The deputies of the standing committee of the National Assembly met this Monday to consider and vote on the proposal for the program of the constitutive meeting of the fifth legislature of the parliament and the program of the seminar for the initiation of deputies (2022-2027).
The next legislature has 220 deputies, of which 124 are elected by the MPLA, which won the elections,UNITA won 90 seats and the PRS elected two deputies.
The FNLA and PHA are the other two parties that also managed to elect two deputies each.
