Africa-Press – Angola. Full compliance and rigor undertaken in the physical and financial execution of the Integrated Plan of Intervention in Municipalities (PIIM) projects in Chibia, Huíla province, should serve as a guide for other regions of the country, recommended Wednesday, MPLA deputies.
Parliamentarians work in the municipality, within the scope of the attributions of the Parliamentary Group of the MPLA, as the National Organism of the Party, which is responsible for defending the political line and the general strategy, with a view to monitoring the governing activity of the Organs of the central and local administration of the State .
On behalf of the deputies, the coordinator of the follow-up group to Huíla, Ângela Bragança, said that the assessment, in Chibia, is positive and is already reflected in the lives of citizens, as all 14 projects inscribed in the portfolio have been completed and only a small part is about to open.
“We learned that there were many children studying under trees, exposed to rain, sun and cold, it does not mean that this situation is over, but with the achievements made, it certainly minimized the problem”, he alluded.
He highlighted the existence in Chibia of schools with a capacity of 400 to 900 students, organized and with teachers focused on their mission, because they have the conditions for this purpose.
Despite these levels of development, he continued, it is urgent to do more, as this is the guideline, but what has been done so far satisfies the authorities and residents.
A mission that is covering the remaining 13 municipalities in the province of Huíla, involving the monitoring group of deputies from the province of Huíla, made up of three deputies from the national cycle and coordinated by deputy Ângela Bragança.
Disseminate the main actions of the MPLA Political Agenda for the present year, appeal to MPLA militants, sympathizers and friends and the population in general to remain faithful to the MPLA and its leader, verify the level of implementation of public investment programs , are other objectives of these visits.
