Africa-Press – Angola. The head of the Directorate of Instruction and Teaching (DIE) of the Army Command, Lieutenant General Simão Carlitos Wala, recommended, this Saturday, greater efficiency in raising the patriotic consciousness of the troops, to perpetuate sublime values such as faith in mission and bravery.
Speaking at the closing of the Cadres Preparatory School, the general officer said it was necessary for the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) to continue to be equipped with patriotic and determined soldiers to courageously endure the dangers inherent in war and achieve victories, even though whether by sacrificing one’s own life.
He recalled that this is the fundamental characteristic that distinguishes the soldier from the common citizen.
According to Lieutenant General Simão Carlitos Wala, in order for the FAA to achieve its goals with precision, objectivity and protagonism, within the scope of current global challenges, it is necessary to introduce dynamics and innovation in the process of preparing troops and teaching, to every hour, every day, week, month and year is a different brand.
“An army is victorious if it seeks to win before fighting and is defeated if it tries to fight before triumphing (…). This means that no matter how many war means it possesses, man’s preparation, from a military, psychological point of view morality is fundamental to better instruct”, he stressed.
Therefore, he called for responsibility in the conduct of recruits, so that military training is capable of making him more of a man and not just a good technician in the art of war, but, above all, in virtues such as discipline, morality, camaraderie, solidarity, esprit de corps and faith in the mission.
It augurs for total dedication, commitment and dedication from instructors, commanders and monitors, as well as all others who, directly or indirectly, constitute “workers” of this training mission, both in technical, pedagogical, didactic, moral and deontological aspects.
The event, whose closing was attended by the Commander of the Central Military Region, Lieutenant General Paulo Silva Xavier “Passix”, took place from the 11th to the 21st of this month, under the motto “To increase the quality of basic education, let us hold the school preparation of cadres”.
The same took place at the Army Troop Training Center “Heróis de Kangamba”, in the municipality of Chicala-Cholohanga, 24 kilometers east of the Central Military Region Command Post.
