Africa-Press – Angola. The National Integrated Ticket Company (ENBI) and Unitel Mobile Money signed, this Friday, a commercial contract for the loading of social transport passes, called “GiraMais”.
This cooperation will allow holders of public transport passes to top up their tickets quickly and without constraints, according to a press release accessed.
The note also mentions that the partnership will allow ENBI to take more than 3 million citizens to the Mobile Money universe, in Luanda alone.
At the contract signing session, the chairman of the Executive Board of ENBI, Mário Pedro, quoted in the same communiqué, expressed his satisfaction with the work carried out by the teams of both companies.
The manager also stated that “the technological disruption introduced in the public transport system cannot translate into constraints in the way citizens travel today”.
“By changing the method of payment for the bus trip, we have to ensure that the technology introduced guarantees even greater ease for the user and this is only possible with means of digital payments that are easily accessible to transport users, such as mobile payments”, added.
