Africa-Press – Angola. Edições Novembro delivered on Saturday five tons of goods to the foster center Frei Giorgio Zulianello in Mbanza Kongo, Zaire Province.
Drummond Jaime, the Edições Novembro CEO, said the company delivered rice, cornmeal, pasta, vegetable oil, detergents, used clothing, toys, and school kits consisting of backpacks, notebooks, and books, among other goods.
During the event, Drummond Jaime said that his company recently promoted a donation collection campaign in Luanda to make the holiday season more joyful for the children at the Zulianello center.
The center’s head, Friar Danilo Grosselli, thanked Edições Novembro for the Ministry of Telecommunications, Information Technologies, and Social Communication-sponsored gesture and asked other institutions to join the cause year-round.
The center houses 103 children, 33 of whom are girls, ranging in age from five months to 17 years old.
