Africa-Press – Angola. “Contours and paradigms of Teaching in Angola” is the title of the work by Eduardo Epalanga Sonjamba, made available Friday, to the reading public, with suggestions on improving the teaching/educational process.

This is the author’s first literary offspring, with a circulation of a thousand copies, which began to be sold at the Instituto Superior Politécnico de Humanidades e Tecnologias – Ekuikui II, in Huambo.

Eduardo Epalanga Sonjamba said that the work, 115 pages, subdivided into two chapters, brings reflections on the paradigms and contours of Angolan education, with the aim of helping the Executive on good educational practices to be applied in society.

He said it was the first individual academic work, developed four years ago, with a presentation of the phases and challenges of Angolan education, which aims to demonstrate how it is, its perspectives and proposals for improvement.

Eduardo Epalanga Sonjamba, graduated in Geography teaching from the Higher Institute of Educational Sciences (ISCED) in Huambo, has a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Granada, Spain.

Currently, the author is part of the Inspection department of the Education office in Huambo, in addition to teaching at the Instituto Superior Politécnico de Humanidades e Tecnologias – Ekuikui II.

He is a consultant for the United Nations (UNICEF) in the areas of Education, teacher training and community development, gender, community participation and project management.
