Africa-Press – Angola. Thirty public servants from ministerial departments, the Attorney General’s Office and the Court of Auditors will benefit from a training session on Public Procurement Procedures, taking place on the 9th and 10th of this month, in Luanda, in an initiative by the African Bank of Development (BAD).
The training action, to be promoted by the African Legal Support Facility (ALSF), ADB’s legal arm, aims to provide effective knowledge on the structuring, management, execution of public procurement procedures and verification of compliance with laws and regulations, as well as standards and international best practices.
According to a press release, the training covers professionals who work daily in public procurement matters, including the National Public Contracting Service (SNCP), as a regulatory body.
According to the document, the training will consist of theoretical and practical approaches to the challenges of a public procurement process, such as preparing procedural documents, responding to requests for clarification, evaluating proposals, preparing jury reports, responding to complaints, among others. .
The lecture team includes legal consultants from the law firm Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva & Associados (MLGTS).
