ENDE interrupts power supply to municipal offices in Zaire

Africa-Press – Angola. The supply of electricity to the six municipal headquarters in the province of Zaire is momentarily interrupted, starting this Friday, 22nd, due to preventive maintenance at local electrical substations.

The National Electricity Distribution Company (ENDE-EP) informs in a press release, that the interruption runs from the 22nd to the 25th of March, from 8 am to 4 pm on different days.

According to the note, maintenance work is taking place at the electrical substations of Kuimba, Kinzau, Nóqui, Nzeto II, Kianganga, Soyo II and Tomboco Sectioning Station.

He adds that for this Friday, March 22nd, interventions were carried out in the commune of Kinzau (Tomboco) and in the municipality of Cuimba, throughout its entirety.

For Saturday, the 23rd, according to the ENDE statement, the interruption in the supply of electricity will cover the municipalities of Nóqui and Nzeto, while on Sunday, the 24th of the current month, the districts of Mbanza Kongo and Soyo will be deprived of this service from 8 am to 4 pm.

Next Monday, the 25th, it will be the turn of the municipality of Tomboco in its entirety, so ENDE calls for maximum understanding for the inconvenience resulting from this operation and informs that the aforementioned work is part of improvement actions aimed at guaranteeing quality and reliability in the distribution of electrical energy to customers.

The statement warns that while work is ongoing, the installations must be considered as if they were under voltage.
