EU Technicians Attend Lobito Corridor Business Forum

Africa-Press – Angola. Technicians from the European Union (EU) will attend the National Business Forum on the Lobito Corridor, which begins Friday (27), in the city of Luena, capital of the eastern Province of Moxico.

The forum is an initiative of businesspeople from the provinces that encompass the Lobito Corridor and the Eastern Region of the country, lasting two days (27 to 28), as part of the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of National Independence.

According to the Chairperson of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the province of Moxico, Agrione Manuel, in addition to bringing together national businesspeople, the event will also feature technicians from the European Union and investors from two Portuguese companies linked to business consultancy, international travel agencies and technologies.

He reiterated that the focus of the forum will be the discussion and analysis of business opportunities in the Lobito Corridor.

He said that more than 270 businesspeople from the provinces of Benguela, Huambo, Bié, Moxico and Moxico, Malanje, Lunda-Sul and Lunda-Norte are expected to attend.

An initiative of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the respective provinces, the Forum is expected to involve the provinces of Benguela, Huambo, Bié, Moxico and Moxico, which are part of the Lobito Corridor, as well as the provinces of Malanje, Lunda-Sul and Lunda-Norte.

The business forum will address topics such as the Lobito Corridor and its relevance, challenges and opportunities in agriculture, tourism – integration of local communities in the value chain and entrepreneurship, business and networking.
