Africa-Press – Angola. The 32nd edition of Expo-Huíla, which opened Wednesday in the city of Lubango, is expected to generate 900 million kwanzas in business over the five days of the event, which brings together companies from various sectors of the national and international economy.

At the opening ceremony of the event taking place from the 20th to the 24th of the current month, under the motto “Agro + Technology = Guaranteed Future,” the chairman of the Huíla Agricultural, Commercial, and Industrial Association (AAPICIL), Paulo Gaspar, highlighted that it also expects to create at least 1,200 temporary jobs, especially for young people seeking their first professional experience.

He highlighted that the event is more than a fair, as it has become a true “movement of transformation and business growth”. The 2025 edition brings together more than 500 companies, both national and international, linked to agribusiness, industry, services, technology, banking, insurance and tourism.

To him, the expansion of the fairgrounds and the diversity of exhibitors confirm the province of Huíla as a hub for attracting investment, reinforcing the connection between tradition, innovation and sustainable development.

Expo Huíla 2025 is part of the Nossa Senhora do Monte Festival program.
