Africa-Press – Angola. At least 9,500 visitors attended the 5th Edition of Expo-indústria/2023, held from March 29 to April 1, in the Special Economic Zone (ZEE) Luanda-Bengo.
The information was given to the press by the Commercial administrator of Grupo Eventos Arena, Manuel Novais, having underlined that the numbers refer to the invitations distributed and tickets sold by the organization of the event.
He added that the number of direct and indirect jobs created during the four days was 650.
He highlighted the participation of more than 238 companies, a record that, according to the source, exceeded the expectations of the organization.
“It was an important event, because the people who came with the objective of looking for partners and meeting needs. The fairs also create the parallel economy, which is the number of temporary jobs”, she added.
The 5th Edition of Expo-indústria/2023, which runs from March 29 to April 1, in the Special Economic Zone (ZEE) Luanda-Bengo, returned after registering a three-year interregnum in 2019, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 19, with the participation of 200.
In terms of representation, the main sectors on display are civil construction with 22%, commerce and distribution (12%), the textile and catering sectors with 11% each, crafts (10%), oil and gas and agribusiness with 8 %, respectively, being banking and insurance, the furniture industry with five percent each and others.
The purpose of the event is to make industries increase employment and improve the population’s living conditions and leverage new partnerships and businesses.
