Africa-Press – Angola. The municipality of Viana, in Luanda, hosts, from today until Sunday, the first edition of the local fair of national production, called “Products Manufactured and Produced in Angola”, in which 250 exhibitors from five provinces participate.
The organization confirmed, this Tuesday, the participation of exhibitors from Luanda, Benguela, Cabinda, Cuanza-Norte and Cuando Cubango who, in four days, will present a diversity of goods manufactured in the country, under the slogan ” Develop and boost national production”.
The minister of Industry and Commerce, Vítor Francisco Fernandes, should inaugurate the fair, whose frequency will become annual. Promoted by the Industrial Development Pole of Viana, in partnership with the National Institute for Support to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (INAPEM) and the company C. Calas Angola, the fair is held with the aim of promoting the potential of national industry and encourage the consumption of products made in the country.
For the organization of the fair, the event represents an opportunity for exchange between producers, consumers and ministries. The fair is held with the support of several partners from the Industry sector and national production, such as the Ministries of Economy and Planning and Industry and Commerce, as well as the programs of PRODESI and IDIIA (Instituto Industrial e Inovação Tecnológica de Angola) .
The fair’s spokesperson, Inocêncio Quipungo, declared that “the event is held in a new era of growth, for the dissemination of everything that is done in Angola”. Angola, today we are promoting our country more across borders”.
