Africa-Press – Angola. The Political Bureau of the National Liberation Front of Angola (FNLA) recommended Friday, in Luanda, a permanent dialogue between the Government, trade unions and civil society to solve the main problems of the current national political situation.

This recommendation came out of the 3rd Ordinary Session of the Political Bureau of this party, held in the municipality of Viana, whose members condemn the threats and vandalism of the assets of the country’s unions.

According to the final communiqué of the meeting, the threats and vandalism of the assets of the country’s trade unions do not contribute to the construction of a rule of law, based on the Constitution and with observance and enforcement of the law.

On the international front, the FNLA says it observes with concern the wars that are plaguing Sudan and eastern DR Congo, recommending dialogue for the end of hostilities.

In the opening speech, the president of the FNLA, Nimi A Simbi, said that since the last meeting of the political bureau of the party, many actions have been carried out to strengthen the internal democracy of the FNLA, with emphasis on the municipal assemblies.

According to Nimi A Simbi, the rains that plague the country constitute an impediment to the continuity of these activities.

The FNLA leader lamented the fact that there are people within the party with the intention of introducing subversion within the party, through the mobilization of the youth mass.

The 3rd Ordinary Session of the Political Bureau of the FNLA analyzed the minutes of the previous meeting, information on the municipal assemblies in Luanda, the FNLA activities report for the 1st quarter of 2023 and the national and international situation.
