Africa-Press – Angola. The secretary general of the National Front for the Liberation of Angola (FNLA), Aguiar Laurindo, stated, Tuesday, in Luanda, that the party’s position is that of the Angolan people, based on the effective institutionalization of local authorities.

Aguiar Laurindo was speaking about the end of a training cycle for senior party staff, from different provinces, who for two days (24 and 25) were trained in matters about local authorities.

In front of more than 50 graduates, the secretary general of the FNLA stated that all political forces that pursue the objectives are obliged to comply with some principles in their organization and internal functioning.

The leader of the “brothers” party drew the attention of those present to the need to plan actions, predict events and identify ways to achieve the proposed objectives.

According to Aguiar Laurindo, human resources are the priority and starting and ending point, justifying the training act. He stressed that the political function is synonymous with Public Administration or public service, which requires the timely preparation of party cadres for State missions.

At the end of the training, a statement was produced highlighting the need to improve moral probity and ethics in the FNLA’s political action. According to the document, the political force establishes the primacy of statutes and related instruments within the framework of the party’s functioning at all levels.

The dissemination of the party’s history in communities and society was also highlighted in the final document, as the FNLA understands that the continuation of training activities to shape and equip leaders, cadres and activists with knowledge must be among the priorities.

The training comprised four modules, namely, a brief history of the FNLA, organization and functioning of the party, local authorities in Angola, moral and ethical values ​​in the current political context.

According to the national secretary for Education, Science and Technology of the FNLA, intensive training of trainers in matters of local authorities is scheduled for this year, with 58 specialists.
