Africa-Press – Angola. Two goals by Gilberto, in the 4th and 89th minutes, this Thursday, in the country’s capital, took Petro de Luanda to the lead of the National Football Championship (Girabola2022/23), with 56 points, thanks to the victory over Sporting de Cabinda, by 2-0.
In the closing game of the 22nd round, played at Estádio 22 de Junho, the oil workers, at home on loan, were the ones who took the first initiatives in the offensive game.
At five minutes, in a move on the left side, in which Yano and Carlinhos commanded the offensive, the latter isolated himself and crossed for Gilberto, who, with his left foot, shot for the first goal for the hosts.

The Cabinda team continued to grow in the game offensively, given the failures of the opponent, who did not reach the goal, despite the opportunities.
In the final period, Gilberto again violated the opponent’s redoubt, taking advantage of a lack of attention from the defenders, to score twice in the encounter.
With this negative result, Sporting de Cabinda remains in 11th place, with 23 points, while Petro (56), relegates 1o de Agosto to second (54).
The challenge is only happening now due to Petro de Luanda’s participation in the African Champions Club League.
