Africa-Press – Angola. The Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MINDCOM), assured, this Thursday, in Luanda, that there will be no shortage of basic basket products in December. The supervisory authorities promise to combat all practices of price speculation.
According to the MINDCOM representative, Carlos Amado, there is enough stock of food to supply the country until the festive season.
“The country has enough stock of food products. The supply forecast for rice is a reserve of 115 days, for sugar, 193 days, which passes the festive period”, he said.
“There is plenty of product, the country is ready and if there is a need, it will do so in order to balance prices”, underlined Carlos Amado.
